I was just curious if anyone knows this.. Does Kikyo ever cry in front of Inu Yasha?

Any info would be MUCH appreciated.  I need to know for a fic I'm writing, and as far as I know she never has.

I know that Inu Yasha is really surprised that Kagome cries for his sake which leads me to believe that the last person who did was his mother, not Kikyo.

And I don't have all the manga or hardly any eps of the anime- but what I do have- I never saw Kikyo cry in front of Inu Yasha.

[emoticon] Thanks!

I actually had this discussion with my beta for my own stories.  I had Kikyo crying in my story and my beta commented that since Kikyo is pretty much dead and only made of dirt, she might not have bodily fluids like tears, so she might not be able to cry.  I thought this was an excellent point, although I didn't change my story because of it...yet.

I haven't seen the entire series or the manga past book 24, but as far as I have seen, she doesn't cry.  I hope that helps [emoticon]

Kikyo isn't the type to cry- she releases frustration in anger from what I've seen- she's a warrior. It's a sign of weakness to cry. Kagome isn't a warrior, which is why she gets away with it.

In saying this, any warrior broken down has a tolerance where if it feels totally helpless that they'd cry. Only in these instances should they cry though, otherwise the reader wont believe that they are strong spirited, and that them crying means that they are truely in pain, cause they can tolerate it usually [emoticon]
