Going to be away for a while...

I know I've already been gone a few days, but I couldn't say anything then (our server went down, and we had no internet)...  Now I'm writing to let you all know that I'm out of action for a little while.  I will still check my e-mail, for those of you who have it, but mostly, I have to stay off the computer.  I've been getting syndromes of Carpal Tunnel, and have pretty much been ordered to keep my hands away from the keyboard.  *sigh*  I guess that means I'll have lots to post when I come back!

To BogusRed and my fellow Mods - I'm so sorry guys...  I should be able to make it up to you once my hands have had a bit of a break.    I'm going to be lost!

Love you all so much, and I'll be back before long.

Oh no Robin!! That is horrible.  I don't know what I would do if I was forced to stay away from the keyboard...I would probably start typing with my nose, or I would train my cat to type for me or something...ha ha ha, I have internet addiction can you tell?

Anyway, just relax and take as much time as you need...I hope you recover soon!

Hrm... be careful with keyboards; you might want to consider getting a more ergonomic one if you aren't using one already.  Have you thought about voice-to-text systems?  I hear they're pretty good, and the one that comes with Microsoft Word, I believe, isn't too bad.  Either way, hope that things turn out alright.  Relaxation is a good idea.

Oh my goodness! My husband is hurting? That is terrible! Do you have thsoe nifty little wrist braces my dear? They aren't very fashionable, but they do help. I have a cyst in the joint of my right wrist, and believe me, the braces help. SO you should so go and get some of those lovey. Oh and eat lots of soup. (I don't know how that will help, but it sure is good.) And just rest those hands. We can't have them falling off after all. I hope you feel better soon mine darling. I rub you so muchly. *hugs*

Thank you all so very much, guys!  I'm going to have to take it easy for the next while, but I'm pretty much back.  I've only got what seems to be the very beginnings of CT syndrome, so if I'm careful and wear my wrist braces, I may be lucky and not get it at all.  for the most part, though, I'm back in action.  I'll be posting a WIP in a couple seconds - unfortunately because of the Easter weekend I didn't get much else done - I just spent a bunch of time with my brother and his girlfriend.  The goal is to finish one of my commissions by the end of tomorrow.  Wish me luck, dears!

And Switch, dahling - I didn't go to the doctor's.  My mom and a good friend of mine both told me that the pain in my hands sounded like what they have - Carpal Tunnel.  I don't have the proper braces for myself, I've been using the ones I have for my weak writst, and occasionally I put on my mom's brace.  It seems to be all right now, though, since I'm not on the puter 8 hours per day or anything.  Mwah!
