It's just me again.  Being weird.  Itook the picture after breathing on the lens of my webcam, and it made a funky lighting effect.  Woot!

I dunno. That Idea sounds kinda iffy. Some people might be a little too self concious of how they look. I myself don't think I am one to look at, so I just stick with the face of my alias because he's much better looking than I am.

Believe me - since I joined this place, a whole lot more people seem to use their own photos as avatars and such.  Those who aren't comfortable with it don't have to.    I used to use only my own artwork, but since now my work is generally detailed black and white, it doesn't make for very good facials. 

Greed:  Funny thing - I have an extraordinarily low self-esteem, as anyone who knows me will tell you...  But I am generally the one beating up on myself, more than anyone else does.  I've come to that realisation, and it makes me feel better about displaying my ugly mug for everyone out there to see.  Also - I'm so bloody comfortable in this community, I feel safe showing you guys who I am, or who I was, as is often the case.    I know there's no one on this site who will blurt out that I need some kind of plastic sugery to fix my flaws...  This makes me happy.

Woah,taht`s mean... Sorry for you... Yeah,I know what you mean about ppl wanting to see you...It`s strange how world is going mad about the outer beauty..Still,I`m happy that I`m not that kind of person. And I swear,I will never will! luckily here ppl judge you about your personality intead of your looks. when someone is ugly they start calling you ugly as a joke and if you don't like being called ugly then they don't call yuou that. theire are only a few ppl who gugde about your looks. It's hard to tell, I guess, but my avatar is me x3; I was going to use it as my senior picture, but I changed my mind. I don't know what it symbolizes, really. Just the dark side of myself, I suppose. ^__^ That angsty yaoi lover in me.

For me, usng me as an avatar is very creepy. It's ok posting a pic that I can use as a referance, but something I see all the time to represent me? It's not that I don't like my looks- I'm not photogenic, but I'm not ugly (or I don't believe so now)... I don't want to look at myself looking back everytime I comment. It's creepy.

As for seeing pics of everyone- I'm all for it. I don't care if people are short, tall, big, small, black, white, cream, brown, yellow, cyan... Who cares? A face to the worlds means the differnce between me talking to a computer, or talking to another human. Maybe I'm differnt cause NZ is so culturally diverse, but every human is beautifull in their own way.

Expect to see a lot of avatar changes with me. xD  I'm major liberal?  Yeah, that's a good excuse.

My CURRENT avatar is a smiley face's hard times with its computer.  It represents...well, I guess you could say it represents the problems I have with my OWN computer.    Mine doesn't punch me in the face (yet) but, my compy still is rather crappy.  It's also just my luck.

My last one was Sailor Moon transforming.  It didn't really represent anything, I just thought it was pretty.

And I've had about 800 between that one and my "icons are for losers" icon (see page21 for details...I think it's page 2)  so I'll just stop there.   Unless I change it, then I'll prolly be back.

eh... bah... man, I started this topic, like, back in the day dude.... It was supposed to be locked a LONG time ago... I almost forgot it existed until someone revived it. (YAY). I guess I can call this my first 'Succesful' topic. 4 pages of replies isn't too shabby....

Anyway. My avatar has changed a bagillion times. My current one is an animated one of Greed changing into his 'Ultimate Shield' in his final fight with Ed in the anime. The coolest transformation in the series. Subject to change, per usual....

My avi will probably change many times. Maybe. I'm lazy though x3; I don't like creativing icons all the time @_@; But I do kind of want to do my signature mark as an icon. Maybe one of these days x3;

And I do agree with what you said Arkillian. I don't want to put an avatar with my photo anymore for teh same reason. Instead I prefer having an icon with something I like- right now it's Jrock... My current avatar is of Kai from Gazette.
