Are you serious? Just one song and band?! ARRRRRRRRRRH! XD
My favorite band is The Cruxshadows! As for my favorite song, it's usually one of these. It's too tough to just chose one! :
The Cure - Charlotte Sometimes
The Sisters of Mercy - Temple of Love
Voodoo Church - Live With the Dead
Bloody Dead and Sexy - Bloody Rose
The Cruxshadows - Edge of the World
Razed in Black - Oh My Goth!!
I'll stop right here. The favorite song question is just impossible! X___X;;
"Everyday is Halloween" - Ministry
"Man is free, yet everywhere he is in chains"- Rousseau

Oh, jeez, there's so many. SO many.
Lesse, at the moment, my favorite band would have to be Nickleback, but that tends to change every week or so.
Favorite songs:
1 Nickleback - Figured You Out, Feelin' Way Too Damn Good
2. Bloodhound Gang - Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo, I Hope You Die
3. Kingdom Hearts II - Passion, or Sanctuary
4. X/1999 (anime/movie) - Secret Sorrow and Strength
5. Nicklecreek - The Lighthouse's Tale
6. Garbage - Stroke of Luck, Only Happy When it Rains
That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but rest assured, there are more.

Ohhhh.... A toughie!
One of the best songs ever has to be Bring Me To Life by Evanescence and Linkin Park. My favorite group has to be.... Asian Kung Fu Generation. They're AWESOME!

There's no pause button for life. You have dive in while the water's deep. Got it? No one's gonna make you get on with your life; you have to do that yourself. Live. While you still can. - Lunarbabe4

If someone held a gun to my head and said you could only pick one (I know you said there could be more, but my list would be way too long), I'd have to pick American Jesus by Bad Religion.
On my live journal I actually had a little game going where you had to guess the name and artist of the song from the first few lines of the song's lyrics. I have to say I was kind of disappointed with the results, but then again, I listen to obscure lyrics. My boyfriend didn't even know all of them, which is just sad. I even put in some songs that I thought were fairly popular. *shrugs* If anyone wants to play, here's the link:

Oh and feel free to read my journal too if you want. It's pretty boring, but it's there if your interested. It's great to be a part of a website where I trust everyone enough to do this.
Oh! I forgot to add that the comments on this link are borderline red curtain, so don't go if you are easily offended.

When all soldiers lay their weapons down, Or when all kings and the queens relinquish their crown, Or when the only true Messiah rescues us from ourselves, It's easy to imagine, There will be sorrow no more
"Sorrow" by Bad Religion The Process of Belief
