Social Gathering on December 10-11!

Attention all members!

Announcing PaperDemon's social gathering of Über Coolness!

The PaperDemon staff invite all of you to join us on December 10th-11th for our PaperDemon Social Gathering!

In an effort to promote commenting and general socialness [smiley] on the site we ask that all of you voluntarily not post any new submissions to the PaperDemon site the weekend of the 10th. Instead we would like the community to focus on meeting new people and posting comments on peoples artwork, comics, and writing submissions. We also encourage you to head to the forums to talk [smiley] about the latest tips in drawing and writing and to share any website resources you may have. I'm sure there are some rockin' tutorials that you've found online that could benefit the community.

We see all too often a web community grow so large that it loses its small friendly appeal. We'd like to prevent that from happening by having these social gatherings. Also we'd like to see people branch out and meet new people outside of their circle of friends [smiley] .

Reminders will be posted throughout the site the days of the event.

[smiley] The staff will be hanging out in the forums and chat room to answer any questions you may have about the site (or we can just chill and hang out). Also please feel free to let us know about any suggestions you have for improving the site. We want you all to know that the PD staff are very friendly and we are happy to hear your thoughts on PaperDemon and how we can improve it.
