Egypt is by far the most historically documented country in the whole world. It is where the River Nile runs entirely through the country, supplying water for irrigation, albeit on small scale and other industrial functions like power generation. Annually, hundreds of thousands of tourists flock many places in the country to be part of the history and see what makes it what it is. Egypt holidays are always fun and successful given the fact that this is the place of the Pharaohs where Jesus Christ is said to have created so much controversy.

Why Egypt

Egypt tour packages are half-baked if they won’t give you the benefit of visiting the great pyramids in Giza Plateau and Sphinx which are located not far away from Cairo city. It is in fact only a short drive from the city to the historical points so it is a must-visit spot whether you’re on tour or on business. This North African country has so many monuments that can take pride as some of the world’s most ancient grounds. It is normal that rookies will think of Egypt as just the land of pyramids and the Nile River but a closer look will give you more. Holidays are so much in Egypt and one can simply not see everything at a single visit. Egypt tours should include the most toured destinations at least for a start. The flavor of the country leaves tourists with the urge to get back and explore more someday.

More than just pyramids

Forget the pyramids, there is so much more to do in Egypt and you will certainly cherish every moment. So many people (if not all) enjoy having fun in the waters. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are; holidays are a time to have fun and forget your problems albeit temporarily. The River Nile cuts past Egypt and if you will not create time to enjoy the Nile cruises then you will be missing out big time. This is a land of camels and the locals make huge sums of money courtesy of tourists wishing to take rides on these humble animals.
