About Me

Hello everyone, I am RaeMae and I am a fantasy artist and writer. Wow, what a way to start this off; very original, now wasn't it? [smiley] I'm not very good at writing blurbs about myself without cynical or otherwise smartass commentary, but I am attempting to be polite.

I've been drawing and writing stories for as long as I can remember. My mother was very artistic, and both of my parents were writers for the city newspaper where we lived. They encouraged my talents and I wouldn't be where I was today without them. May they rest in peace.

When I was a sophomore in high school, a project started that has proceeded to engulf much of my creative habits. I began writing seriously about a fantasy world of elves inhabiting remote places on earth, and that has grown to a six book series. Much of the artwork you will see is about those elves and the characters that stemmed off of that story. I am now 22 by the way. A few years ago, a trilogy of witches and warlocks was added and then a story of angels, and now there are ten books I have on my plate. Needless to say it is full. But I enjoy it anyway. [smiley]
