I remember a childhood mostly seen through the vibrant colours of crayons, pencils and watercolour; as far as I know I did nothing but paint and draw ever since I was capable of grabbing said drawing materials. Crazy little drawings of ghosts and amazingly hilarious self-portraits that I did when I was 3 still get shown to people. Embarassing facts aside, I still collect years' worth of paper. Drawing fills my life like the humming of bees during warm summer days.

I am a little crazy at heart and anything that will give me either colour or fine lines will go to paper. I love to mix mediums and try out things you won't find in any "this is how you use etc etc" textbooks. My favourite mediums are acrylics and watercolour, though ink is currently making a massive impression on me. That aside, all sorts of crayons are welcome too, and so are pastels. Should I discover something I haven't tried yet, I am likely to do so.

Why do I love the art so much? What makes one person dream and breathe the things they'd like to put to paper in the morning? Why do I get up at 3 am because my fingers itch and I have to draw? I guess it's just in my blood.
