Summary
A poem of broken love.
Suicidal State
I loved you!
I truly loved you.
Let down the defences
to let you in.
Like acid you corroded inner layers
of love into my heart.
Little did I know
you would cause destruction
from the inside out.
Making me put on a mask
from day to day
MASKING the wounded animal
that laid helplessly inside
if I take off this mask
everyone would see my battle scars
each one trying and hoping to heal
all pink and crusted over.
They will NEVER heal completely
because I still wait for that call
that one message
THAT WILL NEVER COME!!!
