Well...believe it or not, this poem is based on a joke. I used to think my algebra teacher was trying to brainwash his students, and everyone thought I was crazy. And...well, I wrote a poem about it. So, in a way, it's dedicated to my Algebra 1 teacher, Mr. Tedesco. ^.^;;

A Man of Darkness

Chapter 1

Printer-Friendly version

A Man of Darkness
A smile as warm as summer’s day
But eyes as cold as ice
Regardless of what others say
This man is far from nice
Though he seems kind, please look once more
Hit soul is black as New Moon’s night
And he will likely take you, or
At least he’ll try with all his might
Though closer to Satan, he acts like a God
To brainwash himself a “friend” or two
But do not fall for such a fraud
Or you'll become his servant, too
