A short poem that I wrote 01/04/06, lost, then found again the first week of July. Unfortunatly I cant remember what I was feeling/going through when I wrote it, but I can tell that this poem is about my deep feelings at the time. Hope you enjoy!

Chapter 1
When today comes
I’m left feeling numb
For yesterdays feelings
Are all but gone
My heart still beats
My blood still flows
All of yesterdays feelings
Still etched in my bones
Yesterday, my heart was ripped out
And tears fell from my eyes
Because you didn’t show up
Didn’t answer my cries
Yesterdays feelings are all washed away
Leaving me with nothing besides today
So I’ll sit and I’ll wait once again for your call
Only to find that I’ve set myself up to fall
