Every time I turn

All I see is your face

Every time I walk

Your hate sets me off-pace

I try to hide it

Try so hard to encase

The pain I suffered

Each time I saw your face

You hurt my spirit

Each time that we'd embrace

Every time I ran

You'd always give a chase

I thought we were through

That pain, I could erase

At least, until one eve

I saw your vile face

Your hand held a blade

And with a sort of grace

It plunged within me

It's steel, I embraced

And now I am gone

No longer your scapegrace

I only wish my

Last sight was not your face
