A spurr of the moment poem. I asked my friend Jonas to give me a subject. He said "time" and this is the result :)

Time vs. Age

Chapter 1

Printer-Friendly version

Time flows as a river

Heeding nothing

No obstacle shall bar its path.

Time creeps as moss

Tangling its way

Through sycamore branches.

Time lounges like a shadow

Bending, curving

But never breaking.

Age sneaks up

Pouncing on the unsuspecting

Stalking like a predator.

Age delves it's roots

Digging deeper and deeper

Gaining stability.

Age stretches as the sun

Rising and falling

Only to come again.

Time is inevitable

It continues to flow.

Age is a state of mind

It can be overcome.
