I usually waited outside the school office for my cousins Brittany and Amanda, and then we'd walk home together. But today, 5 of the girls from our 7th and 8th grade basket ball team were standing were I usually did, and I got this feeling something bad was going to happen, so went straight to my cousins lockers to get them instead.
“Manda face, Britt face, there are like 5 girls from the basket ball team waiting outside the office where I usually do. And now I have this feeling, that well, they were waiting for me.” I said rushed and rather worried.
“Psha! Your just paranoid Shay face, I'm sure their just waiting for the rest of the team.” Amanda tried to reassure me. She closed her locker and threw her bag up onto her shoulders, and we waited for Brittany to voice her opinion, as she usually had a good one.
“What are you guys looking at me for?” Brittany asked, playing stupid. “I'm just ganna stay out of this okay?”
“Britt face, I want to know what you think! And your always going to be in everything that deals with me fluffy butt!” I argued and pulled her homework out of her hands.
“SHAY FACE GIVE ME THAT!!” Brittany screamed and ripped her homework out of my boney hands. “I think that their waiting there to try and scare you. Isn't that what most of these preps do? Try and scare us away?” she admitted.
Me and Amanda exchanged looks and nodded, then all 3 of us started to walk out of the building. The girls were gone when we walked past this time. I sighed with relief. But that was a mistake, because as soon as we got outside, there was a mob of 7-11th grade students waiting for us.
“Took you three freaks long enough to get out here.” snarled the most popular, most blondest girl in the whole school. “Everyone's been waiting for you.”
“Yeah, we've got gifts for you three witches.” someone from within the mob retorted.
I gulped hard and started to back away, even though I was rather big for my age, I was the worst fighter without a weapon. I could see the hatred in all their eyes. I looked to Brittany, but she was frozen, she knew what was going to happen to us, she knew and was just afraid as me. I looked to Amanda, but she was glaring back at the mob with ferocity just as they were glaring at us. Amanda, was the tallest and the oldest, not to mention the toughest. She would gladly jump in front of a bullet as if she were superman for me or Brittany.
“Ok, enough with all this silence! I'm doing what I came here to do dam it!” Linda shouted.
