I seem to be fun and full of hope,
Yet I am really cold, distant, with a bubbling hate,
For one so unloved, I stand tall and proud,
But in reality, I am crumbling slowly,
Under the wear and tear of mental abuse,
Nothing seems to faze me,
Yet I am sensitivity in the extreme,
I seem to be a dusty jewel,
Glowing in warmth filled light,
But this is a clam with sealed lips,
Has a shattered pearly heart,
That has created a sea of salty tears,
And sits alone in the deepest ocean,
Waiting for a hug, a kiss,
That transfers a feeling of love,
That opens gently the lips.
