I've yet to have a day

When I haven't thought of you.

You're what keeps me going

Though this is nothing new.

I wanted you to know,

Just in case I died,

That with all my loving heart

I have surely tried.

You always make me laugh

And I love to see you smile

But for us to be together,

We'd have to wait a while.

You may not be perfect,

Though you seem that way to me.

But apart we must remain.

That's just how it has to be.

Happiness is all I want,
