In a new dawn,
the year is gone.
Over, done
exhausted and exinguished.
New days
new ways
all mixed in the same ole haze
People change,
or so they say
Resoutions made,
then forgotten the next day
Things settling back
to what they were the year before.
Over and done,
an new dawn, a year gone.
