Chunin Exams in Suna - Chapter 1

The sun raised high in the middle of the sky in the Village Hidden in the Sand.  The temperature rose to unbelievable highest, but the villagers of Suna, didn’t even flinch from the rays of the massive sun.  Children where running around in shorts and shirts, laughing.  Some adults where busy working with there mini shops in the market place.  Others where shopping for today’s meals.  A woman was checking though some meat, trying to find the freshest one.  But she shook her head and went to the next shop that was selling meat.  

In the middle of the market place was a fountain.  Its height must be about 10 feet tall.  It was constructed as a the Symbol of the country.  Kids where partially jumping in and out of the fountain trying to stay cool and play at the same time.  After the kids left a girl around the age of thirteen, with brown hair tied into a pony tail sat on the edge of the fountain.  Her purple clothes kept the sun from hitting her with it’s rays.  Thank the Kazekage that she got the right material for her clothes.  She sat there for ten minutes waiting…and waiting…and waiting…

She stood up and started to pace a pit back and forth which she got a few stares from the villagers.  But she ignored them.  But she was getting annoyed badly.

“Those two better show up…”  She muttered as she sat back down again.  Then her head rose up when she heard a little fight over to her right.

“I am sorry honey, but if you don’t have money I can’t give you anything.”

Tausha stood up, as a genin she could easily beat this person.  He looked liked just a pain in the ass though,  His hair as spiked beyond belief, the only thing it was holding it up was his headband.  His netting mash clearly showed he was ninja and the headband also was a big give away.  But, she never seen him before, before she started to head over the guy sighed and dug though this pockets a couple of times and finally pulled up a few loose change.

“What will this get me?”  His voice was rugged like he just got up from a nap or something.  

The lady took the money he handed to her.  She looked at it.  She knew that this won’t give him a scrap, but she was nice person and her shop was going good today.  So… “You get one apple dear.”  She smiled.

The boy kept his face emotionless.  But, “Thank you very much.”  His words sounded with so much kindness.

Tausha then sat back on her spot again.  She watched the boy turn her way.  She almost gasped.  The boy was attractive, around his eyes where shaded by his head band, but his golden eyes scanned the streets.  Tausha tore her eyes off him and looked at his headband…Tausha’s eyes widen as she stood up and marched over to him.

“Hey!”  The boy turned around after he took a huge bite from his golden apple.  

“What?”

“Your from the Village Hidden in the Leaves.”  Tausha than pulled out one of her Kunai blades and stood in a stance.  Everyone stopped at what they were doing.  The boy kept looking at her while eating his apple.

“What does it matter to you?”

“I matters to me greatly, you are not allowed in Suna unless for business.”  She stood up straight but still had her guard up.  “Your traveling papers.”

The boy’s eyes harden.  “I don’t have to explain anything to.”  He took one last bite from his apple and threw it behind him.  And when it landed in a trash bin, he grabbed a pare of netting gloves, he turned around and started to walk away, while putting them on.  

Tausha grew mad and was about to follow him, when a blur of blond and black went past her.  She stood there as the person ran past her bonk the guy on the head.

“Bryan!  You know were aren’t supposed to leave the group!”  She yelled.  She stood up straight and turned around.  The first thing Tausha saw was the girls headband around her neck, just like the boy she was from the Leaf Village.  Tausha was getting annoyed again when the girl kept staring at her.  

“What?”

The girl smirked. Tausha then looked her over.  She was around her height, maybe a few inches shorter, same age, and her hair was down.  Thick blond hair with black streaks down to her shoulder.  The blond hair girl reached for a band in on her wrist and started to put her hair up.  When she was done.  The girl’s eyes seem to have turned a little…how you say…scary yet cheerful.  Her hair went to the nape of her neck and it spiked out.  She smiled at her and spoke.  “So how is your sister doing?”

Tausha stood there… “What?”   

The girl turned around and smiled at the one called Bryan.  “How is your sister Bryan?”

Tausha just stood there dumbfounded.  She took in a breath to calm her nerves.  When her nerves where calm she looked back at the two and found them gone.  She gasped and looked around.  “Where?”

“Yo, Tausha.”  She turned around, Tausha saw her teammates Ken and Makoto.  Ken sighed and walked up to Tausha and hugged her, he then rest his head on her chest.  “Did you two miss daddy?”

Tausha’s face grew red with anger.  “YOU PERVERT!”  Tausha backed away and punched Ken across the face and sent him flying!  “Guys we don’t have time to mess around.”

“What’s wrong?”  Asked Makoto, his hair still in a very loose ponytail.  

“There are two people from the Leaf Village here.”  Tausha said

“Hey, yeah!”  Tausha looked over at Ken as he made his way back over to his teammates while explaining.  “This morning I found a guy with his jacket covering half of his face with the Leaf Village’s symbol on it.  When I went over to talk to him, but this hot black and blonde hair chick grabbed his arm and they both ran off.

“Why didn’t you follow them?”  Tausha snapped.

“Well, this OTHER hot girl went by and I went to introduce myself.”  He lifted up a piece of paper.  “I got her address.”  His voice had excitement and drool was dripping out of his mouth.  Tausha slapped her forehead.

She started to walk off, “Well, I am going to go find them and tell them to get out of Suna.”  As she went off to find the two, Makoto grabbed her arm.

“Tausha, that is the reason why I called you two here.”  Both Ken and Tausha stared at Makoto and waited for an explanation.  “Tomorrow is the Chunin Exams, and they are being held here.”  Then Makoto.  “And Sensei say we are supposed to take it.”

“REALLY?!”  Ken started to rub his hands together.  “Now, I will meet babes across the country.”  

Tausha had a face of confusion.  “Oh…well…Ok.”

Makoto the pulled out a piece of paper.

Ken looked at it.  “What is that?”

“Are training session all day today.”  

Ken groaned and started to complain.  Tausha was still trying to come to grips that those three where here because of the exams…but why didn’t they just say so.

“Maybe, its because it would ruin the fun.”  Tausha then felt weight hanging on her back.  Ken stared at the girl on top of Tausha and was about to drool.  Tausha grabbed the person’s arm and flipped them over her shoulder.  Who landed on their feet like a pro.

Tausha gasped, “You.”

The girl raised her arms up high.  “Me!”

“Danya!”  Soon a boy with short brown hair and long bangs came up behind Tausha, she turned around and saw that the boy had half of his face covered by his jacket.  He stopped in his tracks.  He stared Tausha down then like lightening he hugged her and laid his head on her chest.  “Ahh…so comfy.”

Ken, Makoto, Danya, and Bryan Gawked as Tausha punched Ryan and sent him flying in the same spot as Ken flew.  Soon Danya was laughing so hard her chest started to hurt and tears started to fall.  

“Oh…my…god…HAHA.”  Danya kept on laughing then she stopped laughing and snatched at the hand that was about to grab her ass.  “If you want to have children, I suggest you don’t touch.”

Ken smiled sweetly and hid behind Makoto and whispered.  ‘Scary.’

Soon the Leaf Pervert got back up and walked back over, soon the girl named Danya walked over to him and bonked him on the head, then Bryan walked over when the two started arguing.  “Guys we better find some place to train before tomorrow.”

Both Ryan and Danya started to whine a little.

“No, whining.”  He looked at Danya.  “Besides, don’t you need to perfect something?”

Tausha looked at Danya and she almost stepped back from her face expression when she turned around and looked at her.

Pure delight and murderous.

Makoto immediately noticed Tausha’s face change from confusion to fear. She started taking more steps back and flinching constantly.

Tausha glared at Ken, “Why are you just standing there!? Kill them!!”

Ken just looked confused, “What?”

“The spiders!! They’re huge!! And they’re surrounding me!!” Tausha was practically screaming!

Ken took a step forward but was stopped by Makoto, “It’s just an illusion.” He looked at Danya, “That girl is using an illusion technique on Tausha.”

Bryan sighed, “Danya stop, we need to go train. Come on.”

Danya smiled then turned away from Tausha, “Ha-ha, did you hear how she screamed! And that’s not even her biggest fear.”

Tausha blinked in horror, then tried to stop herself from shaking. “What the…”

Makoto cut her off, “Hey! Your name was Danya right?”

Danya turned around and looked at Makoto, “Yeah?”

“That was an illusion technique wasn’t it? You made Tausha see spiders.”

Danya just grinned, “Maybe, why would I tell you?”

“I was only wondering because I am skilled in illusion techniques, and I thought it was a family trait. What is your family name?”

Danya’s grin turned into a look of sadness mixed with anger, “Like I said! Why would I tell you!?” She turned around and began to walk away with Ryan and Bryan, who were both somewhat confused but happy to be leaving.

“Hey, Hey!! Wait!” Ken quickly ran up to Danya, he stepped right in her path and smiled at her. “Listen, Makoto’s a loser, don’t listen to anything he says. I, on the other hand am a great guy and since you’re new here an all, I was wondering?” Ken’s smile widened, “How would you like me to show you around? I could show you all the cool places here and later on I could take you out for some ramen, then if you’re lucky…. I just might show you how to play with my stick.” His eyebrows bounced up an down a couple time. “What do you say?”

Danya’s glare alone could have killed him, Ryan and Bryan just took a step back while shaking their heads. Danya’s hand rose up and shook while tightening into a fist, “Play….with…. Your stick?” Her fist flew through the air with lightening speed, making contact right below Ken’s jaw.

Ken let out a yelp as flew through the air and Tausha couldn’t help but burst out laughing the second he hit the ground. Ken rubbed his jaw and whined “Why do you hot chicks always hit so hard?”

Both Tausha and Danya spoke.  “Because we CAN!”  Then Ryan, Bryan, and with a second glare at Makoto, All three left the Sand genin behind and walked deeper in the market place.

Bryan turned to Danya when she didn’t say a word after a long time.  Then spoke softly.  “You alright Danya?”

Danya only nodded her head and started to walk father away.  “Lets get going.”
