Chapter 1
Chapter 1
Soft summer breeze waves my hair,
scent of seawater slowly sneaking into my nose,
scent of moss,
and conifer forest smelling nicely in the background,
eyes closed I listen to the wind,
silently singing a soft lullaby.
In the forest i wander,
watching aged trees reaching towards the sky,
and a golden sunbeam pushes it way through dense branch of a evergreen tree,
it shines to my eyes,
making these blue eyes to water from joy,
in the silence of the forest.
Standing on a gray cliff,
i stare to the distant horizon,
islands after islands as far as eye can see,
clear blue water in between them,
no sound can be heard,
no birds,
no insects,
no machines of humankind,
nor humans,
just serene image of a setting sunset,
in Archipelago of Finland's southern coast.
As the bright summer night set's in,
as the thousands of stars blink in the sky,
i walk back to our cottage,
where sauna awaits for me,
sweet steam of vaporized water touches my skin,
making me feel untroubled by the modern way of life.
Stepping out of the sauna to our porch,
with a cold coke can in my hand,
i look at this tranquil sight,
with joy and happiness in my heart.
