No Longer Men is a pair of short stories that are connected by the theme of war, or more specifically the War on Terror in Iraq. Both stories are bound together by a linear plot; each story follows the same incident, yet offer insight from distinctly individual perspectives. Fireworks in the Night delves into the world of an Iraqi civilian and notes the detrimental effects of war on their life, whilst Step One follows the thoughts of an Australian soldier during the war. Both texts provide an exploration into the affects of war on the mind of a human.

Faladmir Windhover was a respected cartographer at the end of the First Age. His ambitious goal was to map the southwestern parts of Ara, an enormous, ancient continent that would be destroyed in the Great Storm. The secrets he found, veiled by the dense forests, captured his soul and made him into something he never though of being possible: a guardian, a protector and a strong leader who would later become a legend. This story unravels the journey he took, what he saw in the deepest jungles of the South, and how he became founder of the famous, yet mysterious Darkmere Wardens.

I figure since I'm kind of dominating the whole sight submission and content wise I might as well add a writing thing too. This is from a potential story idea that needs a lot of work. I mostly just like writing character shenanigans. Ziggy comes from a world with no color where everything is pretty much terrifying and awful. Cody comes from Michigan. They're alarmingly similar.

Angwar and Aniceth struggle through the vast labyrinth of Everdeep in order to find safety and to begin life anew, but the journey is filled with unspeakable horror and peril. Are they able to defeat all obstacles and reach the Darfin Keep of Othrond in time before Angwar's addiction for the bluedust fungus consumes him, and will they allow Aniceth, one of their ancient enemies, to step inside the city gates and follow his friend to this hostile place?
