+Darkness Calls+

I honestly believe that I have never crammed so hard to get a piece of art finished. XD This is a gift to one of my best friends, StarSpirit, for her 16th birthday.

I have a really hard time doing fan art, drawing boys, and using watercolors. XD This was one of those drawings that I sat at my desk and just swore I would never get done on time without it looking really bad. XD

In any case, even though this isn't one of my greatest works for many the reason, I hope everyone, and especially Star, likes it!!! <3<3<3

I agree, the color is very nice. Watercolor takes a lot of practice to tame, and it's not something that likes to be rushed. But this turned out good.
What type of pen did you use? Whenever I try to use watercolor on an ink drawing, it always bleeds. :/ Drives me insane.

  I use a brand called Sakura. They're really good for quite a few different types but especially watercolors.

Oooh, a fanwork from D.N. Angel. I've never seen the show, but I had been looking it up the other day since I've heard about it alot, and imagine that, a friend draws a picture of a character from it XD.
I'm not a user of watercolor, but I think YOU did a good job making use of it, especially with the hair of his. It's vibrant with the mixture of a dark purple-ish pink to it, very smoothed out as well. I like the little orb of flame swirling in his hand with the look on his face. It says to me, "I've got a present for youuu" I also like that you framed a ring of hearts around it, makes it tie together nicely as a gift. Nice work as always
