This is my very first character of my own. He looks kind of like my boyfriend. Most of his characteristics are what I like. I love black and red so I have used that alot in this picture. Plus I love boys with spikey hair.

This is so cool! I love that you're incorporating elements of familiarity; the things you love and that are comfortable to you. That's what art's really about, expressing your taste, perspective, experience, preference, vision...your self, right? Great job, girl!

He really does look like your boyfriend, Allie-Cat! Ha, ha! You will definately have to show him this. You're doing great, hon'. I'll help you later this week with proportions, but don't sweat the small stuff. You're doing so much already by NOT GIVING UP! Keep it up.

  Thanks. I just started learning how to draw eyeballs. This was done when my aunt first started to teach me how to draw eyes a couple of years ago. I've just had it for so long. I'm glad you like it.

It's good to see you experimenting with shading and intricate detail; bravo! For a quick pointer, make sure you check the head size compared to the rest of the body. That way, your characters will look more realistic! But, it's so good to see you practicing and taking your time at this, keep it up!

  Thanks this character is my first drawing I ever did. I was trying to make him kind of look like he was putting his head in front and his behind was kind of going to the back.*smiles*! But I couldn't get the proportion right. So maybe would you give me some tips on how to do that! So PLEASE PLEASE I beg of you GIVE me some tips!! *SMILES*
