Constable Oden - shading start

WHEEE!! I've actually started shading something! Again, my character Constable Wolfgang Oden now wearing at least some of his uniform. XD Finished version he'll be fully clothed so enjoy this while it lasts.

Nice ^^ His waist is a little tiny, but he's cute and that's what really counts, right? XD The question is though- does he go to work like that? If so, I'm so gonna rob a bank or something XD LOL.

  ROFL! Nah... my original intent was to draw him in full uniform but I couldn't resist the topless version. I really have to finish this one... though the newer version of him is better drawn I think. I have such trouble with waists, male or female. ><

  If you have issues with waists, use google images and search for shirtless men (have the mature filter on though otherwise you'll get all sorts of porn). If it looks over all straight up and down between the ribcage and the thighs you should be ok. That's my rule of thumb for men ^^

  Attached a pic of a (hot :droolschest which is on the same angle. If the notice, the waist area is wider- I see where you went wrong. The back curve of him is ok. Its the fact that the stomach end also tapers that makes him look a bit starved. Or shruken. I can give a red line crit at home. I'm not doing one with a mouse in paint at work though T.T
