Music of the Night

My first submission on this site...wow.

Okay, this was done with pencil and it's fanart for the Phantom of the Opera. Gerard Butler as the Phantom, Emmy Rossum as Christine Daae. This is one of my most favorite of my drawings because of how I made something overlap...Which, just for the record, isn't very easy. And I know that the words look awkward and cramped there, lol.

Please, if you could point out all the wrongs in my drawing. I'd so appreciate it, because I really am trying to improve.

I agree with Jilly there-- you're cutting the image in half with an object that isn't very solid. They need more negative space around them so they don't blend in too much. It sort of looks like she has a moustache. I think though it may be less of an issue if his hand didn't blend in with his so much. Then you'd see it's full story

The shading is really awesome Yes I like how the hand is sort of transparent too. As a roast hmm... I think the girl's hand is placed a bit awkwardly. Maybe if it was moved lower down like under her chin it wouldn't look as awkward. Well for future pics anyway since this one looks finished Sweat Drop but this does look really great. ^_^
