InuYasha sketch

Posted Jun 22, 2005, 8:04:42 AM UTC
My first Inuyasha fanart! I just finished watching the sixth episode of it and while I was watching, I drew this. I colored it in Painter with the airbrush tool. Hope you like it ;)

Your painting is quite good, you know how to draw and color well...plus i think that your mp3's are pretty cool; especially da final fantasy medely. Keep up the good work!

I absolutely love this picture! I know nothing about art and can't draw to save my life, so I'm insanely jealous of any one who can (including my boyfriend who is incredibly talented at just about everything he tries but won't admit it). Oops! Got off track. I do that a lot. But really, I love the fading and the expression. Really exceptional

Ah! I wasn't here when you posted this...GRRR! That's the problem with leaving here for a while, you miss so much! I'm so glad I stumbled on it though...WOW! He's so, light and airy, but still has that very distinct 'Inuyasha' look about him. Very cool, I'm yikin' it a yot! Favorite

  • Jun 22, 2005, 1:32:05 AM UTC
Most excellent! I am so glad to see that you are stepping out of your "comfort zone" and let's face it, Vegeta would be any girl's comfort zone, and trying new characters. See? The show is pretty addicting, huh? And did you see Sesshomaru? And did you see how Sesshomaru got his poor little doggy arm cut off by that bully Inuyasha? I think Inuyasha has sword-envy. LOL
    • Jun 22, 2005, 9:42:38 AM UTC
I don't remember seeing his arm cut off. I may have to watch it again ^.^
      • Jun 22, 2005, 9:45:38 AM UTC
*cries* Yep. It happens at the end of his fight with Inuyasha. Poor thing. My poor poor Sesshomaru. Do you like the show, though?
        • Jun 22, 2005, 9:54:13 AM UTC
Yea. I noticed there are a couple of voice actors from Ranma 1/2 in it. Inuyasha has the same voice as Ranma and that little flea guy has the same voice as Happosai and that flea character looks almost exactly like Happosai! It's so weird. But, yeah I like it. I'm so glad I got netflix because Anime is so expensive because you have to buy so many dvds. But with Netflix I can watch as many as I want for a fixed rate.
          • Jun 22, 2005, 10:00:04 AM UTC
Richard Ian Cox does the voice of Inuyasha and Ranma. Paul Dobson is the voice actor for Myoga the flea as well as Naraku. They have such sexy voices. Except as the flea. As Naraku, oh yeah. I am glad you like it so far. It does get much better from where you are watching it. It is very addicting. If you can, you should check out the movies. Alot of people have said that they don't like the first one "Affections Touching Across Time" but I like it alot better than the second one. The story is awesome.
            • Jun 22, 2005, 10:15:16 AM UTC
is it to early for me to watch the movies though? I may not know who all the characters are. At what point in the series should I watch the first movie?
              • Jun 22, 2005, 10:21:15 AM UTC
Actually, maybe. Wait until you meet the rest of the characters. The main ones anyway. Sango, Shippo, Miroku. The series is written so wonderfully though, that you can come in at any point and figure out quickly what's going on. It doesn't "lose" you if you haven't been watching it since the beginning.

    • Jun 22, 2005, 12:07:39 AM UTC
hahah. Don't worry, I don't think I'll stop drawing Vegeta for a while.
