Kaze no Kizu

Posted Aug 7, 2007, 12:37:12 AM UTC

I drew this image for the Inuyasha Feudal Association's awards, and it was used for "Best Battlescene".

I wanted this image to have a more "graphic" sort of look to it, so I made it a flat gradient background and gave it zoomlines to emphasize Inuyasha's fury (and the battlecry he makes before unleashing his attack). 'Kaze no Kizu' is the Japanese for 'Windscar'. I watched the show in Japanese, so I'm more accustomed to it than the English.

I really like the comic effect with your more realistic approach on inuyasha. He's VERY furry looking!! XD I sorta wanna cuddle him, but then I see his sword and hide behind a tree for Kagome to call out the sit command ^^; LOLS!
