xxxHOLiC: 104 Sunflowers

This style be hell to draw. It's another older piece... maybe I'll finish it one day. I just felt someone needed to draw these three as an OT3 (meaning, in a mutual three-way relationship) because that's how I see their connections working out.

So, I have Watanuki making a yubikiri with Himawari-chan using his non-gimpy pinky as a demonstration of his dedication to her and his willingness to still let her in despite the situation through which her bad luck inadvertantly placed him. You can't really see it well in this scan, but I've jumped on the bandwagon with the red string of fate and it's tied directly to Doumeki's and Watanuki's pinkies to demonstrate their inevitable bond, and it loops around Himawari-chan's pinky to demonstrate how she is now irrevocably connected to both boys through the sacrifice she made for Watanuki and through Doumeki's acceptance of her. Doumeki will be holding her hand to symbolise his acceptance of her and the ability his blood has to sort of negate her bad luck.
