Dragon Sheet 1

This was just some sketching I did while a few friends of mine were playing D&D.

Top dragon is the blue dragon from Dungeons and Dragons - most of it was done looking at a reference but about halfway through I got tired of looking at the book and did the rest without reference. SO most of the top dragon is based off of looking at an existing picture.

Bottom dragon is just a random dragon that I attempted. Because the top dragon looked so muscular in the face and neck I decided to draw a dragon with a slender and elegant (almost) look. I think it came out pretty well though it has a lack of scales.
I think I might end up using the bottom dragon somewhere in my story (as if there aren't enough dragons in it already...)

Ahhh, but there can never be too many dragons.... this comment of course coming from a girl who happens to adore dragons and all things mythologically inclined... >.>

Ahem. The top dragon is really well drawn, and I think you did quite a lovely job on it, particularly getting all the little details like the teeth (even some detail on a tooth or two), and the shading on the scales is just enough to give them volume...
The second is really nifty. I like the horns, so much detail in the shading and the shape of them. I think this is a good design. Corky Smile Perhaps a serpent type of dragon, rather than more reptilian? Though I suppose snakes ARE reptiles... shhh.
