A Reconnection of the Souls

At the questioning desperation in his eyes she took a step towards him and whispered, "I love you." Then throwing her head back, she yelled at the top of her lungs. "Do you hear me, Los Angeles? I love Tristan Roberto Himes! I love ymph-"

She was cut off by his lips descending on hers hungrily. She surrendered her hold on his arm to snake her arms around his neck. She felt his hands on her back, one locking around her waist to hold her to him as the other moved to the base of her head. The kiss was one of desperation, a reconnection of their souls as both gave to and took from the other the reassurances they needed.

For anyone not familiar with the context of the story, Kag is in a dance costume, not a bikini or something. It's... a long story.
