Beware Power - Sketchbook

Posted Jul 7, 2005, 8:59:06 PM UTC
This was drawn from a photo of one of the most beautiful and confident women I have ever seen. I can't get over the presence she had in that one photograph. She's a model, and gaining a lot of fame for her beauty and new-found power in the marketing industry. Good for her, I say. (I kept the article, I thought it was so cool...)

Geez your imaginative. I would of never have thought of something like this. Please tell me what gave you the idea for this piece.

What gave me the idea? Erm.. I was just looking at the newspaper article, and I loved the woman's face. My drawing instructor at the time demanded that we include writing in our sketches, so I had to incorporate that... and since I discovered her in the newspaper, I thought it would be appropriate to use newspaper clippings, and this is what came up. Does that explain it? Smile
