While the art and shading is just as fantastic as all your work is I have to say my friend that the shoulders are way to narrow/to close together.
Let me see if I can clarify that. ;o)
They aren't broad enough for the size of the head. Corky Smile

Thanks for the CC buddy. Yeah this one gave me tons of problems which I normally could of fixed but as it happens more often than not I got caught up on another pic and rushed to get this done. I plan to fix this or redo it but as it stands I have to hold off on it until my workload gets smaller.

The detail on the armour is fantastic. And the background is lovely, gives it a magical touch. I also love that it is not in colour, because sometimes I think colour ruins a picture and this looks great the way it is. I'm sure your friend loved this piece.

I'm glad you like the armor. Its been a while since I drew something like this and I thought I was getting rusty until your comment. Thank you.

No problem. It doesn't look like you are getting rusty at all. It looks fabulous.

The armour detail is absolutely pristine. You've really nailed the finer work. I even like the depth-fade of the background.
On a critical note, I do find the face to be a tad... odd. I think it might be a touch wide, making the eyes appear further apart then they should be. It certainly doesn't affect the overall picture however, and is just something to keep in mind for next time. Faces are very difficult. And the eyes themselves are lovely.

Thank you for the thought out critique and for the compliments. I took your CC to heart and adjusted her face a bit. Mostly the eyes and I hope I got it right this time. Check it out and let me know what you think as I value CCs.

Something about this one just doesn't look right, the eyes look a bit big and off, and the angles on some of the armor just don't quite look like they're drawn right.

The shading is impeccable though, as usual. ;D

Thanks for the critique. Well I double checked my angles and compared them to my references. Her eyes were definately off and so was her mouth abit. I readjusted them but as for the armor i'm still trying to figure it out.

      Thanks again for the CC.

Well, what I can see with the armor is mostly on the right side. The round emblem looks a bit too high, the small plate under the head seems to be hanging lower on the right, and the neck guard protruding from the shoulder looks too high as well. Could be the angle, though it still looks off.

Hmmm... I'll fix it eventually but for now it's going to have to sit for a while on the back burner due to commision time constraints. Thanks for the CC I really do appreciate them.

Love the detail work you put into the armor! Very impressive and realistic. The ivy on the wall in the background is a nice touch, too. ^__^
