Heh heh, this threw me for a loop: Sasuke in Kirayasha style!
But in a good way.
But besides that, they look so pretty together! This one reminds me of those classic Japanese silk paintings... I don't know why, maybe the elegance of it?
*laughs* I never imagined I would do it myself, so if you were thrown for a loop imagine how i felt. XD I totally messed up his hair in the lineart too. *laughs* Luckily I showed it to Kaze-chan who gave me a great pic of him to ref off of for that hair.
*huggles* I know you meant it in a nice way.
Thanks! Really?! Maybe... I did spend some time looking at old woodblock prints (*laughs* I never knew how "naughty" those were. XD) and maybe a bit of that rubbed off?
*laughs* that it is... but then anime is full of strange gravity defying hairstyles, not to mention hair colors that would look more at home in a crayon box. *winks*
You know, I would love to do a Kenshin/Kaoru pic... I just ahve 2 pix that I MUST do before I can do anything else, so feel free to keep nudging me about this. Okay?
Oh that is so lovely. I love the way you did their hair. It's a little hard to see the faces though. It looks like their faces are stuck together somehow. But the colours are lovely. I wish I could do that.
I wonder if that's my monitor... Someone else made a comment on another one of my pix that the faces were very soft & not too well defined, yet when I look at it, I cna't see what they're talking about. This actually looks quite dark, or at least for for me as I have a light touch when coloring. Hmmm... I'll have to get someone look them over before I post in the future...^^; I usually just pic a few colors & work in shades of them. In that pic, there's orange fr the skin tones, blue on his shirt & hair (his hair is the balck part of blue) she's all pink with the same blue on her obi, the flowers are pink, yellow, purple & green, grass is green & sky blue, so if you add it up, it's only 6 colors. You can do it, it's not as hard as you think, because if I cna do it, anyone can!
You should! I know I couldn't get the hang of it at first until I thought of it as painting on canvass. Good luck! i look forward to seeing your cg stuff!

well....
at least now we know where Miroku gets it. *le sigh*
Ha ha, Sasuke's hair is weird... I think he uses the same hairdresser as Cloud (FF7) and Hitsugaya (Bleach).
Could be! *winks*

*laughs* it is rather colorful, isn't it? XD
>.> beware... I have a Bleach/Inuyasha piccie in mind..

I'm gonna give it a try with colouring then. I work only with pencils as of now.
