Sight of Fairy

Just something I drew while looking at the back of a fairy statue I have, I added the scenery so it gave her a little more pep. I did this a few years ago, so sorry that its not in color >_<

This is very nice,love. I love the extra little details that you have added to make this picture more special. You did a wonderful job on the flower that she is sitting on and I love the wings. I cannot make wings. *pouts* But, these look great. This one is my new favorite of yours. Keep up the great work. ^_^

  Thanks for the comment Yeah, I like the detail I put into the flower too, but I wish the flower had more cus the fairy should be the focus of the picture >_< I do think I could have done better with the wings though >_<

  I think if you maybe sften up the flower petals and darken up the shading and the general outlines of the fairy, then that should make the fairy pop out more since that is what you want as your focal point. I think what is going askew is that the shading is roughly the same color all the way through the picture. If you put different shades in then I think you will get the result you want. All in all, this is absolutely one of my favorites that you have done. ^_^

  It's always nice to get helpful criticism on your artwork, really helps a person know what they need to work on or should do the next time around Not sure which I like More, giving or recieving comments

  That last line could have turned into something completely naughty, but I will keep my mouth shut and be good. I am always here to give you any help or advice that you want. I am currently working on a line of realistic pictures, as you have seen some of them in my gallery. So if you ever see anything that needs some work, please tell me. Like you said, that is the only way we can learn and improve as artists. I am always grateful for any advice that I can get.
