Ixchiel

Ok, so this is Ixchiel, my first naga ever draw. ^_^ His name means Snake God, in new world mythology.

He's a halfbreed Red-Bellied Black Snake, (one of the top 20 deadliest snakes in the world) and Inland Taipan (THE deadliest in the world). <--Thanks Kitty and Phoenix!
His father was a full-blooded R-B Black Snake and his mother is a full blooded Taipan.

And yay for freckles! He does also have two different colored eyes.

Anywhoo, Ixchiel is a real arrogant badass, and apparently goth. >.< I don't know how that came about, but the more I colored him, the more color added itself and then he ended up with painted nails and lipstick. >.< He likes being different... *snorts*

His piercings and tatts are testament to that as well... >.< But that's just me too, I like piercings and tattoos... *glances around and grins innocently* *coughs*Sixtypiercings*coughs*

Yer... and multiple, various references were used for him... Lots....
I did use NEPi's nagas as references, snapesnogger's, Jidane's, as well as many others that I can't even name. And the earring idea came partially from my own mind and DazedPink's designes. She does awsome jewelry. Ner... and... yeah, can't think of anything else to mention right now. Oh! I swear I didn't mean for Ixchiel's gloves to be like Killian's! >.< I didn't realize what I had done until I had already started inking them >.< But I always draw fingerless gloves on my chars anyway... so... we can just all ignore that small mistake and pretend it never happened..... *shifty eyes*

And the scanner REALLY effed up this pic... *cries* It looks so amazing on the real thing. -_-0 His scales and hair look, well, amazing to me. And it's very rare when I say that about my own pics. The scanner made the reds and oranges too dark. *sighs* When will somebody invent a scanner that actually scans like the real thing?
