This was my first and only attempt at a centaur. At the time I couldn't find a picture of a horse so I used this pic of a dog catching a frisbee in a mag I had as reference. Done 1992

I love how you did this. There's alot of detalization here. I love how you did the his body and the armor and axe details. Nice shading too, makes him look powerful. I would say there's a bit of a comic style in this. And how did you turn the dog body into a horse's? Very well done.Smile

Thank you!! I was heavily influenced by comics when I did this one. The transformation from dog to horse took a lot of imagination and guesswork. I had just replaced the paws with hooves and changed the body shape somewhat.

You're welcome. I like comic style. I have a teacher at college who has his own comics. As for myself I think doing a manga would be cool. lol. Are you going to post any new works? I'd love to see more. Smile

I do plan to but lately I haven't had the chance to really draw anything. Hopefully this coming month I'll find some time. Thank you.

My goodness you are posting left and right now aren't you. I thought you were only going to post a few, but that is alot. I am so happy. Smile

I by no means mean to belittle your original concept. That is just what I made of it. I'm gald you liked the thought though.

Woah this is soooo awesome! I love the way you drew his flowing hair and his armor. And I LOVE the detail on the blade of the axe he is wielding. OMG you used a dog as a refrence for the horse?? You have to see this picture: http://www.talkheroes.com/images/clone6.jpg The theme behind it is "Cloning Experiments gone bad" and I just saw it yesterday...when you said you used the dog as refrence it came to my mind immediatly, ha ha. The horse part on your drawing looks excelent...great job! Big Smile

LOL! I took a peek at the link you inserted and it completely took me aback! I was open mouth gaping! That has got to have been one of the freakiest things i've ever seen. Please tell me that that was photo manipulation. Because if that wasn't then somewhere out there is an insane geneticist. Thanks Bunny, you made my night!

No, its not a photo manipulation! He's my pet...his name is Bob and he lives in my backyard! hahaha. Well, to the best of my knowledge it is a photo manipulation. Here are a couple more of my favorite ones: http://www.talkheroes.com/images/clone3.jpg
        http://www.talkheroes.com/images/clone8.jpg
If you think the last one was freaky, check out those two! hahaha Big Smile
