Lady's Tattoo

Okay guys, I have decided to get a tattoo on my outer thigh and have been having trouble thinking of a design that I want for it. Finally after much brainstorming, I have come up with this dragon. Let me know if you think it would be cool or not. This will be on my body for the REST OF MY LIFE!!! :lol: Thanks everyone. ^_^

  heck yeah it will be. I am getting it in a couple of weeks for my birthday present. It is going to be this size and it is going on my outer right thigh. It is going to be sweet! I have a different head design for it though that Dennis drew up for me. it is posted on here too. I will take a picture of it after I get it so everyone can see it. i think this would make an awesome tatoo design. i don't know how closely the tattoo artist will be sticking to the design but it needs a little bit more grace. I think if it was traced in illustrator or a vector program you could get the lines clean and sharp and smooth. although the tattoo artist may be able to do that on his/her own just from your sketch. This is going to be awesome. once you get it done, you'll need to photograph it and post it in the forums or something for all of us to see.

  wow, Susie...thank you so much for the advice. I am trying to get it perfect. Dennis and MiniMaid are currently working on a head design for it so it doesn't loook so much like a horse and more like a fierce dragon. I will DEFINITELY take a picture as soon as I get it done. This is the actual size it is going to be, so I don't know if they can get it all done in one sitting or not. I hope so. I guess it will depend on how much I can take. Thank you so much for your wonderful input. ^_^

This is awesome, lady! Though I agree perhaps with a change in the head. I think rather than making his nose bump out like that, it would help to make it more streamlined and smooth. Love you SO much!

  Thank you guys so much. That is why I posted it here...to see if I can get some help or ideas for it. Like I said before, it looks more like a hose or a seahorse than anything else. I wanted to get a dragon to represent my fiery personality. But hits design is also very soft too. Which totally fits my personality. I love the body of it. I think the body looks spot on. I just need some work to make this dragon less wimpy, because, let's face it, I am not wimpy. Unless it comes to matters of the heart anyway. Thank you both so much for helping me with this. This is the actual size I am going to get too. It is going to be pretty expensive due to the size and all the black ink they have to use on it. Maybe I will switch the black and pink around though . Who knows. I still have all the time in the world to decide. My skin isn't going anywhere. Much love Robin. Mwah!

This is good mt LadyAnime but I hope I don't come off as an A-hole with what I am going to write next. I am going to be a little harsh but seeing as your going to have this on your body and it will stay on you 7 months after your dead I think my cander is appropriate.

Everything about your design is beautiful except for the head. Change the head! Otherwise don't get it. I know i'm being awful for saying this but I believe I have to. I want nothing short of perfection on you.

I'll understand if you don't want to talk to me anymore.

  Oh Posh Lloyd! I still want to talk to you. Why wouldn't I? You are one of my bestest friends. So there. I am just wondering what you would suggest that I change for the head. If you ask me, it kind of looks like a horse instead of a dragon. I have been trying to design my own tattoo but I am lost for ideas. I want to have a design that no one else has. Please help me Lloyd! I am begging for your all knowing wisdom! I am going to get it on my outer thigh. You have had it done right? Is it painful there? The one on my back didn't hurt. I was just wondering if the ones on the thigh hurt. I am such a wuss. Anyway, please help me oh mystical art God.

  I'm very relieved that your still talking to me after that scalding comment I left. Like I said before though you need to change the head, but this is only my opinion though. I'll try to draw a head for you tonight and send it to you to see if you like it. Remember though that this is only my opinion and in no way shape or form should you accept any of my ideas if you don't like them.
  Now as for the pain, the pain is moderate on the outer thighs, the part that would of tortured you would of been your inner thigh so it should be a breeze.
  Again sorry I was so harsh but when it comes to skin art I become very vocal as ink is something very personal for the person (or should be in my opinion) and once its on its on forever.

  Think nothing of it Lloyd my dear. I know that this design still needs a little work before I put the final result on my flesh. That is why I am asking for people's opinions. I want to have the design perfect before I go through with it. This design is something that I have conjured up in my litle brain because I want to have something that no one else in the world has, you know? I also believe that you should not get a tattoo unless you are absolutely SURE that you want it to be seen on your body for the rest of your life. The one on my back I picked because the flower represents my softer side, while the thick tribal design represents my boldness. Or something like that. I always take your advice to the highest degree and I love you for the fact that you try so hard all the time to help me out so much. I cannot even begin to tell you how thankful I am. So I am so very grateful that you are willing to help me out with this. This is a very important thing for me and I can't wait to see your ideas. I think right now it is looking more like a horse's face than anything. I like the basic body design. I am quite happy with that but I want him to be sort of fierce in order to go with my fiery side. This is the exact size that I am getting it too. I am so glad that it will not be too relatively painful. I am pretty tough when it comes to pain. I have endured 1 tattoo already, child birth and 2 epidurals! I think I should be able to handle anything after that! Anyway, thank you for your constant guidance over me and for always looking out for the best interest of me and my skin. I love you man. You are awesome. ^_^ I would never ever ever stop talking to you. I cherish your friendship too much.

Besides, I really do need some help with this design as it will be on my body FOREVER and I want it to look perfect. I know that with you helping me, it will be a masterpiece. I am a little nervous to get this one because #1: it will be expensive. #2 It will take alot of time. #3 I am getting it on my outer thigh and the pain will be intense. Oh well. I ahve lived through child birth and a different tattoo, so I should be able to handle it. all my love.

  *laughs* Thank you so much. Heehee. I took an on-line test today that Brethesen sent me the link to and guess what it said about me? It said I am a Benevolent Ruler! Cool, huh? I am so cool. Just kidding. I know I am going to get the tattoo. I am just trying to improve the basic design for it before I have it forever engraved on my body. This one is going to be quite expensive because of all the black ink they will have to use. This is going to be the actual size of it. Dennis and MiniMaid are going to work on a better design for the head though, because right now, it kind of looks like a horse. I want a fierce dragon because I have a fiery personality.   Yup, this big as it is going to take up the entire length of my outer thigh. It is going to look so cool! Of course, after I have the design done, I am going to take the sketch to the parlor and see what the artists can do and how much it is going to cost me. That will be the most painful part. >_<

This is beautiful LadyAnime! I love how it is in pink and black...those are two of my favorite colors to use together. Its up to you whether to use it though...like you said it will be with you for a long time! The only tatoo's I've ever had are the ones that come on the wrappers for zebra gum, ha ha ha. Great job

Plus, this is designed by me, so it is extra special and unique. The more I look at it, the more fond I grow of it and I think, ultimately, this will be the one that I have done.   *laughs* To be honest, hun, they really don't hurt as bad as people think they do. I was so freaked out to get my first one because I was terrified of the pain. I was completely surprised when the needle touched my skin. It was not bad at all. I was like, "I psychoed out for this?" In all honesty, I guess the degree of pain just depends on where you get it at. The outer thigh is a sensitive area and I think I will have much more pain with this one than my other one. Plus it is a bit bigger. >_< Oh well. Anything for art. After a while, your endorphins kick in and dull the pain, so it's all good. If you really want to know what a tattoo feels like, scratch your arm really fast. That is pretty much the same sensation. Thank you for your interest, love. ^_^
