There is something about the feet and grass that don't work together. I spent about an hour trying to fix this but I just can't seem to. Perhaps I will give it another try next time.
Well, the easiest way to incorporate grass in to a picture and make it look believable is to have blades of it overlapping the feet. If you'd like to not mess up the line art, highlight areas near the feet. Having solid shadow underneath him will make the griffin look as though he's floating.
That being said, I love this picture. The stylized sense of it was done well, the paws are awesome, I adore his mane, and he looks so tired and beaten. If there's a story behind this, I'd love to hear it, because the character you may have made is amazing.
Humm I have no idea why putting grass blades never occurred to me. Now I feel silly. Thank you so much for the help!
There was a story behind her but sadly I no longer remember it. A friend on Deviant art and myself had talked about it a long time ago. But Im glad you like it ^_^ And thank you again!
Your submission is posted to our site but it hasn't yet been added to an Art RPG queue for point counting, approval, and/or reward redemption. Submit it to the queue to get your rewards.
Thank you!
