Chimera

One of my works from sculpture class last year. Finally got the opportunity to photograph it, cuz I used these photos for my foundation portfolio review. =] (which I passed :dance:)

I call it Chimera, cuz it's a mix of horse leg, bird beak, and wing. =) We were supposed to take influences from nature to make a sculpture.

Plaster over chicken wire and cheesecloth.

Don't remember when I finished this. Just that it was sometime in November last year.

I really am drawn to this piece. The smooth and flowing curves are really quite lovely. It gives one a feeling of peace. Thanks for sharing it with us.
