Girl in hat

I think that this character is very cute although the proportions are off. I know the big eye anime look is popular, so I don't have any problems with that per say, but her mouth seems too far up or her chin too long. Her upper arm is too narrow for her frame, but I suppose that too is in keeping with the anime style. Try to stay away from the gradient tool whenever possible, it is not something you should come to rely on for coloring techniques. I would also encourage you to try adding some shading to your sketches for subtle differences in light and shadows. Under the brim of her hat, on her hair, would be a darker area than the rest of her hair. Cute character, thanks for sharing.
