This was/is my final project for my Illustration class which was turned in today. You have no idea how good it feels to be DONE omg. The final project was a "storybook" illustration of our choice, be it from a game, pre-existing book, etc. I chose to go with something Hindi which was the Mahabharata. There are a number of stories in the epic entailing Naga and I wanted to sort of illustrate a more modern fusion take on it.

The instructor challenged me to go outside of my usual style and try a more Indian style when doing this, which he said that I did pull off; personally it was a bit of a challenge mostly in the facial area. I always do noses and eyes in an odd way, but I'm pretty fond of the way I did the face. The original, as always, looks loads better and sadly there was some cropping due to the curve of the paper when I took a picture (the side and bottom borders mostly). If they can get the big scanner in the Mac Lab
fixed at school I will try to scan it after break.
