The scanner killed this. And i had to resubmit. Due to the sketchbook rings. Neh. Anyways. Hopefully, it should be perfect now.
Two of my characters: Fynnol, and Ayr. Whats spinning around her should be water. I tried. Especially on the dragon, which... others say look cute, I say... I could have done better. much better. I need more practice.

Water in magic tends to either be fast and erratic, or consuming. Fast moving water leaves alot of spray which is dynamic, and *tends* to focus in one direction cause of how water works in real life (rivers tend to be straight due to water being very strong when thrown about. Think 1kg of water = 1 litre... or the American version... >.> ). The consuming version kinda glomps like glue and is scarier cause it has the dead water feel- you can breathe in white water, but dead water doesn't move, so has no air in it.
Well- I hope I make sence any who XD *falls over*
Goes back to modding T.T Siiiigh....
WOW. Thanks for the help. Oo I didnt actual -try- in this picture... i was more worried on the anatomy, then how the water actually looked.
Actually: Question: (PS yes it made sense, but left a lot of holes in it...)
What if its from A -still- Body of water, and Slow moving; lets say, not even A liter, (I dont do grams, i do leters. Im amercan DAMMIT) wouldnt it take Some sort of form? Shouldn't it be a bit 'easier' to get it in one direction, slowly?
Because i was trying to make it look like a 'ribbon' Swirling around' her, Like, in the picture... Didnt try as hard as i should of, because as i said, more for anatomy help. XD.
Anyways, thanks for the help. NOBODY Besides A friend of mine, has bothered to help me at all... T-T
Small body of water.... I'd say it'd make droplets of water with swirly magic around them. It'd be rather cute to see too ^^ Just, what ever option you do take, make sure it looks wild an chaotic. As your magic is right this second, it looks static cause it's all parallel and measured. Umm... this one isn't a finished pic or anything, but maybe it's clear enough to show what I mean- [thumb9706] I haven't done anything fancy to it beside a dodgy motion blur (wow- it looks so rude XD) but the droplets of water are kinda helixing around the two in the middle, the dark swirls outside the cloak are a different spell, but that's ok. Spells come in lots of different forms, and it all depends on what elements it incorporates to how it looks. [thumb6501] This one has a guy (Alex) using his power to form some dragon wings- I've made the wings white at the base, cause that's where the most energy would be- the flames off it gradually get reder cause they're moving away from the source- his back. [comic69] um... can't give a pretty link to the page, but page 9- in this, the world's protection is broken, so I'd say that the sky would look shattered, cause it is like the shield of the world in a sense. Page 23 also has an example of a wind power. That comic has alot of magic though I wont bore you with pointing it all out >.<
wow, Im gettting alot more comments on this site, then the other..
anyways.
Ah, thakns for the tip. Maybe i might bother to go and redo it, but i hightly doubt it. I'll just keep in mind and book mark the pages, here fo rhelp if i really need it. XD. Thanks for being so helpful. XD.
XD. At first I could only draw really bad females. I mean, they were almost stick figures... but i just kept adapting, and trying different styles... I'm still not to where i want to be, but im a TOTAL perfectionist. so Eh, theres teh explaination why when it doesnt turn out they way i want it to i ahte it.. No matter what anybody else says.
