Wisdom's inner strength represented by a a wolf. Wisdom is a shape-shifter, a guardian of Nature who only takes animal forms. His strengths are provided through Nature's energy so long as his duties are performed. For better or worse, this is no one to tangle with, and none better to call 'friend.'

Mechanical pencil on Illustration board - still a lot more to do.

This is really gorgeous. i like the way the wolf looks a little like he's smiling. I'm amazed that you can get such a soft look with mechanical pencil.

Thanks. The background was actually done using graphite dust. To think that I used to shade it all with mechanical pencil was just nuts! Not to mention it was a waste of lead.

Not sure when it will get finished. Probably over the course of several months. I want mega details! So I'm taking my time with this Smile

Ah, graphite dust makes a lot of sense. I don't use mechanical pencil for much more than line drawing, so I;m often impressed by the range some people get out of it.

Funny how I have a brand new set of drawing pencils, the real stuff, but all I use is mechanical? Weird.

Not really. My friends keep giving me new art supplies as gifts and I keep going back to the ones that I'm used to. I have a set of Prismacolor art sticks that I've never even opened.

Same here. My closet is full of art stuff I haven't touched in years. Such a waste!

I didn't realize people were waiting for it, LOL. Sure. I have a page where the words in place, just haven't drawn out the images yet. What have I been doing lately??? Oh yea, I've been working on looking for publishers for my novel. And hanging out with friends. Boy... busy life...LOL

      Okay, back to work!

I also had another comic idea based off some writing I did years ago. Time Keeper theme.

Will be going on vacation this week, so that'll put me back a bit. Will try to have something soon Smile

lol, seems like every month I'm taking a vacation. I just came back from New England. Now I'm off to North Carolina. Going to New York next month, then Disney World in December. I'm booked!

Maybe I'll have a chance to start my latest commission tonight when I get back from dinner. I won't forget about the comic either.

Hey, I know! Since I'm done with the children's book, now I can do more art during lunch hour. Sweet! That'd be the perfect time to create more comic stuff. Thanks for the idea. You're a genius!!

Really? I'm glad I decided to switch over to color then. I was just going to leave it black and white. But everyone else had color and mine just looked.... bla!

Nice work, I can't wait to see it done. The hands do look a little small to me, but the details are looking great. Smile

Yes, especially that right hand. I fixed a couple of things, so I'll have an updated version soon. Thanks!
