Shatter

There is no end to be found in this world.
Sleep, my beloved.
Your life goes on.
You were born, and you lived.
You will tell the song of hope, won't you?
For eternity.

Offer up these tears,
The words of a new love.
Thank you, days of bliss within my dreams.
I thank the fact that we met here.
For eternity.

I did as I said I would and I personally feel quite happy with the result. When I finished it last night, I felt this great sense of warmth and happiness. Yukai was in tears because of a song he had been singing. Though when he saw this he felt the same way and that made me feel even better, almost enough so to kick out that depression fully. I do admit it has come back a little, but I'm almost done crawling out of its shadow to say the least.

Anyway. More about the picture. The choker he is wearing is like the one I have, which in actuality is a blue dog collar. The circle that is attached is what a complete stranger gave me one day on a beautiful necklace. He came in, gave it to me, and then left. He also gave me a onyx necklace for my mother. He had come from Van Buren (a ways from Fayetteville) and was a fire fighter (I knew this from the fact that he had the shirt and everythin', though it possibly could have been wrong--I don't know). The pendant was a Celtic knot with a trinity star--symbolizing Protection. As soon as I put it on after using the blessing oil the lady in the store gave me from saying I had been blessed, it clashed with my energy but soon the two melded into one. Though for a while I had a headache until it did. So that is why he is wearing it--because it is something extremely important to me. The wire it had originally been on snapped so I put it on the dog collar I bought with Aron, whom got a neon pink one with a kitty bell.

For those who remember the clothing I had posted up a lone time ago, of the sleeves, loin cloth and a sort of 'brace' around the feet might recognize what he is wearing. I went for an Egyptian style when I drew it originally, but now I don't know what it represents. The markings on his ribs/waist have come back and I made them as ones on his ears, too. His horns are a completely new and different design, but I personally adore them. And his eyebrow horns are back, too.

Finally, he is wearing pants with belt buckles on them. His feet are the same and he still has the bandage around his foot, along with the sorta.. 'cuffs' around his ankle. And he has feathery wings, rather than bat. I just didn't like the way it looked, so the first person to jump on claiming the leathery wings I did with the three finger-like appendages toward the bottom can have 'em and use their design. Since I do copyright my work by sending them into the Copyright Office, if someone saw you running around with the picture itself... *Shrug* When I say claim, I mean that you take the picture and upload it onto your own page AFTER telling me you want it and then sending me the link to it. Once you have, I'll take it off my Sheezy and it'll be all yours.

That said... Hope you enjoy. And yes, I did make the background transparent. Don't ask me why, please.
