Wolf Sisters

This my interpretation of one of the Zodiac Signs -- this one is supposed to be Gemini, the Twins. There is alot I liek about this work, like the wolves, the shading, compostion. There's somethings, like the foremost girls's face, lack of line variation and the Northern Lights I don't like, but I;'m not really one to go back an make editations on my work. Im more the type of person to come back after 2-3 years and think -- I could do that again and do a MUCH better job, and so I think I will. I'm doing that a lot with old sketches that I did like waaaaay back when.

Also -- inspiration came from Avatar, Wolf's Rain, as well as Princess Mononoke. Great animation in both of those things.

Beautiful drawing. I actually like the way the foremost girl's face is drawn. It sets them apart slightly. Anyway, good job.

  Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I had a lot of trouble the sense of perspective and trying to keep it realistic.

I love the composition here, it keeps the eye moving and does justice to the subject matter. I do think that by adding some really dark shading in the darkest places you will achieve more of a sense of light and dark. Don't forget about cast shadows under the legs and seats of the women against the white fur is the most obvious. Nice work, thanks for sharing.

  Okay, thanks. I'll keep that in mind. Totally slipped my mind about a shadow casted by the girls onto the wolves.
