digital painting in photoshop. I was watching The Water Horse and got to wondering where there would be a creature in the Loch at all? The answer came to me in a dream which I got up in the middle of the night to scribble down:

Long ago there was a girl who fell in love with a man while traveling with her family in
Scotland. She was promised to someone else and her family refused to let her break the
engagement. Heartbroken, she vowed to never give her heart to anyone else. She asked the
Gods to remove it and leave it in the Loch where they first met. Her plea was granted and
they placed a monster in the lake to guard it, where it still resides to this day.
