Into the lair...

One of two final illustrations for my Character and Object design class. My story was Time Machine and this is the part in the story where the Time Traveler encounters the Morlocks.

I always thought that the time machine would make a good Disney movie so that's how I designed my characters. As if they would come right from a Disney adaptation :yes:

I like the overal colouring on this. It has a nice look asesthetic look to it. Love the overall compostion, it reminds me of something that you would find in a children's illustrated book.

The only thing I can really nitpick is the shadows on the ground. I'm assuming they are being cast by the Morlocks, but they seem slightly off compared to the Morlocks. there should be more broken up (like 4 shadows instead of just the 2?)

  Yeah I had issues with the shadows when I finished it. I know what you're saying But I'm glad you liked it ^_^
