Hema's Apprentice

Growing up in Nexus is hard when you live on the streets. Thankfully, Ark was taken in by a gruff but kind blacksmith named Hema who made him his apprentice. Watching Hema, he realized that what he was doing wasn't just making money... he was helping to defend the city he was in; he was trying to make it a better place. This sparked inside of Ark who before, fought to survive. Working under Hema, he would fight to protect. He'd forge himself as a shield and armor through his fists and through his craft to maybe make Nexus just a bit safer.

... and after his exaltation 10 years later, he'd do the same for all of Creation.
