The Seamstress - WIP Shading 3

Next stage. I'm just getting bits of the forest floor down right now to join the objects more smoothly. My eyes are closing, though, so I think it's bed time...

This is really good. The shading and everything is perfect and the ground is coming along nicely. Just like everyone else, i am anticipating to see the final Very Happy

It's moving... slowly but surely. Only three days left tops, so the final version should be ready soon. Wink Glad you like it so far, and thanks so much for the compliments! Embarrassed

Hurm... I can probably curve the branch up a bit more, but I don't think I can pass it behind her head without it looking broken, and I don't want it to be broken...

Grin I'm really glad you like how it's coming along so far. I don't know what I did to the hands and shirt that's different, but likewise, I'm glad you like whatever it was! Laughing

Hope you had a good sleep, BR.

Wow This is looking great. I like the change you made on the boot. It's much more convincing now. I love the work you've done for the ground. It's starting to really feel like she's within an environment which is really difficult to do. I also love what you've done with the hands and her shirt. The quiver is also nicely done. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to comment on your previous posting of this. I've been really busy lately. Sad

Anyway, good night. I'm glad I got a chance to see this before going to bed tonight.

One suggestion though, that curving tree limb makes me nervous, as if it's too close to her head. Puting two shapes close like that creates tension. Perhaps make it lower and have her in front of it (make it pass behind her) to get some overlapping action. Or move it up just a little more.
