Our Lovely Number Six

Ok, it was this single picture for my whole reason to even attempt using real screentones. They're so hard! x.x; But I'm very proud of this, and I adored how it came out irl. But the picture has been sent to my friend for Christmas.

The big problem was the scanner not picking up the pink on the surrounding blossoms. So after much fiddling, I made it look like this. It's kind of like an antique photograph (or so I say). I rather grew fond of it, so I kept it as it is. The "droplets" I made on the BG flowers even showed up better once I did it. I really liked that effect. :3

I think this is definitely one to be proud of. I like the contrasting paterns. I especially like the effects on the blue vest where the blue bleeds into the yellow. Nice color touch!

  It was one friend who invited me here, and I'm trying to get a whole lot more to now follow me. ha ha~ This place is well set up and I like the ToS. More people are looking for another and safer art site since DeviantART has an utterly screwed policy and isn't listening to the voices of the majority. But...everyone has to form their own opinon on that.
  
  Thank you, a lot of people have told me they like how Xal's vest came out. I guess I'll be purchasing more screentones that have that effect going for them. :3

Welcome to Paperdemon ^^ I really like how this has turned out ^ You use physical screen tones? Or digital ones? I've played around with them in my comics- they're ALOT more effective than grey scale in comics I've found, but never tried colour.

  Yes, this is one of the first times I used physical screen tones. I used to use digital ones for my online comic, but now I prefer full color. I LOVE screen tones, but they're just more difficult for me to work with. I do plan on using them more though. For practice, if not for the fun of it all. :3
