Haha, and once again I give something good a retarded title. THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.

I joined up with an artgrind on LJ- six months, a drawing a day of this bastard right here, to get good with consistency. Unfortunately, I had to quit about a month into it due to lack of internet at the time and some serious problems with tendonitis.

Oh, god. How I love this picture. And Gaius in general. I like how his hair has some movement to it. And his belleh. OM NOMNOM

This is many things and I have no problems with the proportions. It's fun and sexy.... dontcha just love the feel of graphite.
A well executed drawing with the main subject emboldened.

I love the expression on his face. Nice dark values add his look of disdain. His arms do bother me. They seem too short and out of proportion with the rest of him. I think part of the problem is that his torso on the right side (with the arm raised) seems turned too much to the center. His upper pectorals should be flatter on that side, exposing more of the upper arm. Nice work with the hairiness of him, he does look to be a very manly man. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  Thanks! His arms did look off, but I couldn't quite figure out why. I'll definitely keep it in mind for the next time I draw him.
